Yep...it's true.
Albert "Pope Algore I" Gore, Jr., the leading environMENTAList of his own mind...err....time......in 1997 had this to say about the Kyoto Protocols:
We will not submit this for ratification until there`s meaningful participation by key developing nations
Someone want to tell Al that China, India and Brazil, among other "developing nations" who were then exempted from Kyoto are STILL exempted from Kyoto?
But let's not forget that this man is more than casually acquainted with astonishing hypocrisy.
When running for the Tennessee senate, Gore spoke before a group of tobacco farmers and told them how familiar he was with the growing of tobacco, proudly claiming that he had planted it, hoed it, picked it, stripped it, spiked it, etc.
Several years later, when speaking before a women's cancer survivor group, he told them how much he'd always hated tobacco because it had contributed to the death of his beloved sister....
....who had died some time before he gave the first speech to the tobacco farmers.
He also invented the internet, discovered Love Canal, had the "union label' song sung to him some ten years before it was written and was the inspiration for "Love Story".
Remind me again why anyone pays this man any attention whatsoever?
