There is a reason he doesn't wear a suit. Heard about this, but can't remember. Anybody know?
Maybe it's because he doesn't want to resemble the West's businessmen.

He wears a suit, he just doesn't wear a tie at all or often. "Ahmadinejad is a short, slow-moving man. He has a penchant for inexpensive beige-colored jackets and never wears a tie, which he sees as a sign of Western decadence. His hair is always carefully combed and he generally wears a three-day beard. These are all signs of modesty and simplicity, carefully orchestrated to differentiate Ahmadinejad from the country's elegant mullahs in their turbans, sand-colored suits and black robes." www.spiegel.de/international/spiegel/0,1518,418691,00.html Just a "tie" is a sign of decadence but the rest of the suit isn't...that's dopey.

phinehas wrote, "He wears a suit, he just doesn't wear a tie at all or often." Most of the time, at least when he is in our news, he is wearing that jacket that looks like a windbreaker. Maybe you're thinking of Tony Blair.

I can see him in a bowtie and a plaid blazer with patches on the elbows. I think he could pull it off.

My response in #3 is to what you had written in #2. When I responded it was before you added the quote and link. So the quote from you in my #3 answer was all that appeared in your post when I responded.
Anyway!!!... Your link says he wears "jackets", not suits. Maybe it's a matter of perception. I don't think a jacket is a suit. Especially the jacket this Iranian guy wears.
All I know is I heard something about him not wanting to resemble the American businessmen in his attire. So if this means it's the tie he avoids, rather than the full suit. Well.

"When Brian Williams of NBC asked about Mr. Ahmadinejad’s attire—a suit rather than his trademark windbreaker"
At this function he was wearing a suit rather than his trademark windbreaker. He is known for wearing his windbreaker looking khaki jacket (not a suit.)
I will now follow Wildboar's lead and stop responding to your goofy pleas.

The dude wears a freaking suit without a tie and when he doesn't he is wearing his stupid windbreaker jacket. All I did was point out the FACTS. If you want to continue to hold to your incorrect position, who cares? Go through life being ignorant. Yeah, that was Wildboars lead as well, remaining ignorant in the face of reality. The reason you won't respond, like Wildboar, is becasue you CAN'T...you're wrong and don't have any evidence to rebut. Don't let that stop you from thinking differently though.

Here's hoping people can be civil toward those they dis-agree with! I CAN PLAY BOTH WAYS, AS YOU KNOW.....but the Civil way is the Right way......and the High Road! Goofy pleas? As you can read, my opinion, which was based on facts, were cited as being "goofy pleas". I notice that you didn't repond to THAT.
My response was to say that the other person was ignorant of the facts and that I didn't care if they remained ignorant of the facts, in the face of reality. I did not call anyone stupid, which would be bad mouthing them.
As far as you being civil or not, when I become uncivil to you, then you can point that out and respond in any fashion you so choose. Until then, live and let live.
As far as Dixie56's request, one can take note at who made a public statement of agreeance and who didn't. So, for you to hold this up to my face, rings rather hollow, since you are in the group that did not comment on that thread.
