sir william AGAIN did a great job hosting matt's show yesterday...he has SHOWN on the air her deserves his own time slot instead of replaying lee twice daily. I only got to hear about 20 minutes of Hunter's show, but was very entertaining as always. He definately needs to work on style and technique, but his show is fun to listen to. I agree about Lee. His show mostly annoys me, but after I met him I found that he's a very likeable guy in person.

Lee does seem to be a very affable man.....but....the bulk of his guests are along the lines of: "P. J. McGrouchy, outstanding columnist on the internet site Rightwingcrank.com. P.J. lives in his mom's basement and supports the war efforts by blogging opinions."

solinvictus, I miss Mr Hendrie as well. That was my favorite radio show, one of the best radio shows ever. It killed me when he went off. I miss Lloyd, Jay, and all the gang.
Lee Davis is wearing me out, just tired of it, and Burp and Kurp, what are they 300 years old? The center for fart dust. 101 sucks , that whole station can go down to the 5th ring, turn left and cook.

If 101 wants a whole day of local talk radio, then they'd better find some new hosts pretty quickly, because the ones they have now just aren't cutting it. They would be far better off getting a few nationally syndicated shows with proven hosts, but I don't believe they ever will. Maybe they could still have local shows for the morning and afternoon. How about Coast to Coast AM after midnight?
Thank God I have XM Radio!

Yep, I can't get anyone who believes their "live and local" pitch considering the bulk of the broadcast day is nothing but repeats.

Chris and Dale, Just wanted to say you guys were the only talk radio show worth listening to in this area. I know it is more likely than not that you guys will have to spread your wings in search of more "Attack" friendly environments to be on the radio. I definitely enjoyed listening to you guys talk about the issues. I think the way you guys would rag on each other and challenge the listeners really made it interesting. Although I know all of the hosts there are Christian the only one that is really overtly religious is Erwin's; which makes this really confusing. Anyway, keep up the good work where ever you end up and rock on. Peace.

I'd be happy to have a station in Birmingham that had reliable traffic reports ALL day WITHOUT the crappy background "music".
What's worse than the Lee Davis show? A Lee Davis repeat.
What's better than anything on 101? A George Noory repeat.

I would be happy for a talk show in Birmingham that wasn't the same old super conservative cookie-cutter toe-the-line bullshit.
Since the Attack Machine got screwed over, I've been enjoying Lex & Terry some. Pity we end up having to go to folks in other cities for quality radio...

Lee Davis: Sounds like he is talking with a mouthfull of food....or he has a pierced tongue.
Burt and Kurt: One looks like George Jones, the other...possible pedophile.
Matt Murphy: Idiot. He should apologize to Jerry Clower, the REAL MOUTH OF THE SOUTH.
WHERE IS THE ATTACK MACHINE !!!

I know you said not to boycot The Source Dale, but...........what ever dude! They are merely contributing to the problem in the "great state of Ala-ass backwards-bama"! Anyhow, here's my email I just sent to their program director. I at least got my point across I hope. I'll try to pick you guys up at your new gig.
"I just read some of The Attack Machine's message board. I was out of touch for a couple of weeks, and I come back to find out that their show has been pulled. Then, I went on their message board to try to find out why and I was sadly not surprised. Chris and Dale were nothing but gracious on their board and are encouraging people to continue listening to 101.1 and to support and patronize your sponsors. I, however, will not. It is my understanding that there was consensus that they were not "Christian" enough for the "God and Country" station or words to that effect. Well, I am a Christian and I do live in the state of Alabama and I'm embarrassed that they got fired because they didn't fit this backwards and naive perception that this state has on Christianity and Christian ideology. God forbid someone think for themselves. God forbid someone have a progressive mind set. Let's do our best to keep the minds of the "good people of Alabama" stagnant! Let's try our hardest to maintain a puritan system of assumed values that only serve to hinder the growth of our already mocked state! Whatever we do, let's not fuel progress or forward thought! That would just be stupid! I am embarrassed for us! The Attack Machine was the only thing on your station worth listening to with the exception of Murphy from time to time. I WILL NOT listen to 101.1 The Source again. You can keep your antiquated and stale ideology to yourselves. Once again, the squeaky wheel got the grease!"

I'm just glad I don't have to hear these douchebags anymore. They were not nearly intelligent enough to get away with being as rude as they were.
