"If this wasn't part of the original why is it still in there?"
Logical fallacy. You have not established that it wasn't in the original.
"So if the Bible is suppose to be some kind of supernatural book dictated by YHWH why hasn't this corruption been removed?"
Another logical fallacy....you have not proved that it is a corruption.
Make a valid premise first, then provide evidence. I see you have gone back to evilbible.com for ammo. LOL. Ms. Objectivity.

I didn't claim anything other than that your premise is based on a logical fallacy.

Do you believe that verse was in the original text? Yes or no.

Your failure to do this but instead get me to make a premise for you is intellectually lazy. Sorry, I won't do Your work for you.

Again, "Your failure to do this but instead get me to make a premise for you is intellectually lazy. Sorry, I won't do Your work for you."
Worry about your original premise instead of trying to make me make the premise for you. If I wanted to state a premise and then take the time to prove the premise, I would. I didn't but you did. Your original premises were incorrect due to the inclusion of logical fallacies...correct them and move on, or don't.

If your response is going to continue to be this:
"Do you believe that verse was in the original text? Yes or no."
Then re-read this post for my response going forward.

My point is clear. Look at post #1. I bet you didn't know that story wasn't Biblical. Your welcome. If you want we can arrange to have me come teach your Sunday School class. Hey, it looks like they misspelled your name in our comic strip:

My point is clear. Look at post #1.
Your point was clear but consisted of logical fallacies. It was clear but incorrect. Remove the logical fallacies and restate the premise.
I bet you didn't know that story wasn't Biblical.
You have failed to prove that, that's what I know at this point.
Your welcome.
For what? Giving your opinion. Sure, thanks.
If you want we can arrange to have me come teach your Sunday School class.
The assumption is that teachers know about the subject matter they teach, you have not shown that you do. You have shown however that evilbible.com thinks they know the scriptures and that you have the ability to get information from wikipedia. There is no computer with internet connection on in the classroom, so...you won't know what to say.
Hey, it looks like they misspelled your name in our comic strip:
I'll read the comic later.

Hmm,
I just need to accept the fact that Phinehas can't make a clear point.
My clear point:
John 7: 53 - 8: 11
This wasn't part of the original text.
My simple question:
Why is it still in there?
Of course any answer will just be an opinion unless it's coming from someone who has actually published a Bible. I'm just curious what people think about this.
