No it won't! GOD DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO PROVE! Do you?

No, nothing to "prove". I bet you are a member of a 20 member church who either doesn't "like a big church" or doesn't see why your church is not growing. Might as well put this on your sign out front: "Sorry, we're full. The rest of you can go to hell."

Hmmm, this is from the guy who typically comments towards a poster and not on their post? The same one who was banned for 3 days because his back and forth tirade did not appear to show any love in word, tongue (using the written word here as "tongue"), deed, or truth. Besides, where did I judge? I just made a specualtion -- never said you were, just guessed by your attitude. Here's one for you: Matthew 28:18-20 - And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." If someone can go before atheists and plant a seed, then God can provide the rest. Or would you rather we all hide inside the walls of our churches and whine about the rate at which Christianity is decreasing in the US?

Your type are the reason I don't go to ANY organized earthly Church! So you were wrong in your sharp-tongued judgments!

Your type are the reason I don't go to ANY organized earthly Church! So you were wrong in your sharp-tongued judgments! I suppose its best that you do avoid church. After all, there are those who go who may disagree with you, and we know you don't like that. Yes, stay home where everyone agrees with you. Uh, unless you have a wife and kids... You made me think of a song I heard when I used to listen to Southern Gospel. Here's some of the words: Excuses, excuses, you hear them everyday. Now, the devil he'll supply them, if from church you stay away. When people come to know the Lord, the devil always loses, So to keep them folks away from church, he offers them excuses! The real reason that supposed Christians stay away from church is not the other people, but themselves. If you are so devout and holy, would you not then have a positive effect on others around you? I would think you'd be part of a church so you could lead others. Instead, you sit home and complain about it. Oh, and as far as displaying love, I'll follow your example. In fact, here are some great quotes that are prime examples of how I should display such love to my fellow forum members: Note the bad spelling, something you like to point out in other's posts.... And now my favorite, you quoted the following: But in other places, you said Of course, the "fool" reference is in regards to a brother, but you used it to apply to another person who you were claiming was not a Christian, so I thought I'd point out your use of the word. On second thought, I'll not use you as an example after all...

With Christians like you.....we sure don't need enemies!
If you spent positive time on POSITIVE Things, instead of your search to criticize people, I might consider you a Christian!
YOU SURE SET NO EXAMPLE OF GOOD OR CHRISTIAN LOVE!
Like I said about another moron like you......You make blondie look good!

What's so sad about this is that you are so often the person you accuse others of being. I agree with someone else who said that you don't have an account on here because your "karma" would be one of the lowest on the board. I know I don't have as many posts on here as you, but please take a moment and show me where I -- like you -- call people names of any kind. Sure, names are fairly harmless, but nevertheless, it is a sign of weakness to resort to their use. Besides, my initial post on this thread did not require Uh, I looked back over this article and did not see where I was mentioned in it. So why then did you feel in necessary to add "Do you?" with an angry emoticon? The debate will not be between me and the atheists. In 20 years of being a Christian, I have been asked by every pastor of the churches I have been a member of to teach Sunday School. I have led numerous evangelism teams in door-to-door visitation where I was able to witness to many people and saw several profess faith in Christ. I also visited with a proclaimed atheist who told me at the end of the visit that I was one of the few Christians he'd ever listened to in his life because I did not show anger or self-righteousness while still being effective in delivering the Gospel message. None of this is a "pat on the back" because I give God the glory for the strength He's given me to be a witness. In the short time I've been on this board, I've seen you "attack" more people than most anybody else. So how then can you claim that I -- and some others I saw you say much the same to -- am worse than an atheist? You really need to take a moment and get your mirror out because I'd dare say that you've turned more away than I could even consider. This should be the end of the discussion. I only posted this thread for information and small discussion, not as a way to defend who I am to someone who may be confused.

Dale, you are so naive!! The NFL has the Titans, Colts, 49ers....the NBA has the 76ers, Celtics, Rockets....MLB has Astros, Cardinals, Braves...
They were just copying Christianity! After all, we have Baptists, Methodists, Catholics... ;D

This should prove to be very interesting. Kirk Cameron has become very devoted to his faith in the recent past. I look forward to seeing how this evolves.

Christians can do a lot better than Ray Comfort. You know he's a moron, right? Don't really know anything about him. Until I joined this forum, I never really though too much about atheism so I haven't really researched it. Huh, no believe in any gods. Sounds simple enough to me ;D. I did see some video on youtube with him trying to explain the reality of God with a banana. After that one, I might just pass the debate after all... Besides, I just can't take Kirk Cameron seriously after all of those years on Growing Pains. Its just some mental block I suppose.

Christians can do a lot better than Ray Comfort. You know he's a moron, right? Dr Kent Hovind has the best debate material on creation/evolution. I have around 30 of his DVD's....He wins all of the debates, hands down. Comfort was not very impressive on his debating skills from what I heard from another Christian friend of mine..and he is into apologetics like I am.
