www.abc3340.com/news/stories/0507/426730.htmlMy first question is: How did they get approval without proper documentation? My second question is: Why did the parents NOT have proper documentation? My third question is: Why are we, as a people, paying for medical care for children without proper documentation? I actually don't have a huge problem with the Medicaid program, but something about this smells a lot like welfare fraud.

I have no problem paying for medical aid for children simply because they don't have documentation. Children should not be made to suffer for parent's poor decisions with their health.

I don't have a problem with Medicaid, this just sounds like a lot of kids only exist on paper. I mean, you don't even have to file for a social security card now. It is done in the hospital when the birth certificate is filed. How did all of those people NOT have documentation for the kids?

But Rich, these are the kinds of government rewards that encourage illegal aliens to come to the U.S. and sign their kids up for freebies.

They are children!! I wouldn't deny healthcare to a child for ANY reason.
The adults are coming here to work. I see 100's of them line up on Lorna starting before light, they aren't standing out there year round before most Americans get up for a hand out or some "freebie", they are there looking to WORK.
