...it has been fired. Thanks to all who participated; especially the six months of Barbaro updates, internet Viagra and mortgage SPAM mail, and the occasional wide-eyed fool who wandered into the forum off of his website and posted with the unrealistic expectation that anyone gave two craps about the program or the forum. RIP Lee Davis Forum; you were irrelevant in everyone's daily lives.
As an aside, why would someone who's a self-proclaimed retard with technology even BOTHER having a discussion forum?

Yeah, I was going to report that but was put on my 3 day suspension before I could post. You can still get to it here: theleedavisshow.com/forum/ But it breaks down after that. Maybe if Kaplan didn't leave dirty diapers everywhere versus changing clean ones for no reason, there would still have been a viable forum. The lasts posts by the forum regular, ebakoloo and Lydmilasokolovskaya.

I imagine it went down something like this: Murph and Lee were standing around the water cooler shooting the breeze (and staring at Hunter's butt) when the subject of web sites came up. Murph mentions looking at The Attack Machine forums, and how all the posters are giving Crawford hell for his treatment of the Dynamic Duo. He goes on to say how happy he is about getting rid of the forums on the Murph site before anything "bad" could happen there too... Lee agrees and walks away, wondering what the heck a "forums" is...
(Thank goodness for Stephanie. She probably saved Lee's job, so we can still hear him every day... snore...)

You set up the joke. You thought it was funny to bring up barbaro, I thought it was funny to infer that the thread was beating a dead horse, considering it was literally, a dead horse. If you can't understand the irony and humor in that, then tuff. I don't consider it to have been a cruel remark. Eitherway, it doesn't matter what I do or don't do, you will find fault in it. I will make whatever comments I want to.

There is no system. You haven't irritated me. I thought you were joking and I posted back a joke. There was no malice in it. My mistake was that I thought you were being lighthearted about it but I was wrong. Think what you want, goodnight.

Yeah, Lee Davis: The Source's audio equivalent of a Lunesta. Here's the Reader's Digest condensed version of a Lee Davis call-in: Caller: "Well, Lee, ah shur do agree with you a hunnerd and ten percent about supporting President Bush" LD: "Thanks, that was a great call....next we have _______ from _______" Caller 2: "Lee, personally, I disagree with President Bush's policy on ______. I think it's bad for the country." LD: "Well, how would you feel if you were killed by an Islamic terrorist?!?!" (Hangs up on caller)

That is hilarious, although you forgot this one:
LeeDavis: Yeah I was at that game, let me tell you the entire starting lineup from the 1957 Alabama football team.
Man, that is captivating radio.

"Captivating" in the sense of punishment. Anyone who listens to The Lee Davis Show should be able to count it as community service or probation. Oh, and the replays: please. "The 101.1 The Source replay of The Lee Davis Show: just in case you missed his droning monologue on the virtues of President Bush or his witty banter with WahWah who's already called the station four times today." Great radio.

sol-
Is there any truth to the rumor that Amnesty International is up in arms because the CIA was using replays of the Lee Davis Show during interrogations of enemy combatants and that such harsh interrogation techniques are, Amnesty believes, a direct violation of the Geneva Convention?

Yeah, to Lee Davis' credit, it was the 24/7 replay of his program that finally broke Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in Gitmo. There's only so much droning the toughest man can take. Yes, Amnesty does classify The Lee Davis replay as a more grueling form of torture than the water board or a severe beating with a big four battery MagLite.

Attorney General Gonzales has to remain in the dark or otherwise, he's complicit in this cruelty.

At this point, I vote for a slight raise and some $$ fringe benefits through the Dept. of Justice. As callous as the technique is, The Lee Davis Show replay gets results in GITMO.

At the Source, Talent comes and Talent goes. Why Lee is still there, Nobody knows.
A Republican apologist of the first order, He remains true to his party. He's Johnny-on-the-spot behind the mike, Whenever one gets fired or is merely tardy.
Always there and always ready To assist Mr. Don. Yet considering his lack of talent, How does he keep his job?
You'd think he was Crawford's son!

In a way, I feel for Davis. Imagine your situation: you're a 50+ (I'm assuming) third string talk show host on a fifth-string, mismanaged station that's SUPPOSED to be a news/talk but has nothing but repetitive programming for most of its day. You've been demoted once and, because of your precarious spot on the food chain, you get shuffled around to every other program's sloppy seconds because Sun Young Crawford keeps firing the morning program. Of course, it's recognized that YOU'LL NEVER GET THE MORNING DRIVE PROGRAM, but they give it to you as a fill-in. That's really got to be a "What the f*ck have I done with my life?" situation for Lee Davis.
