OK, no cheating, but let's all take this quiz and post our results. Make sure you click on the choice of "2008 Presidential speculation". I'll be the first to be humbled (and embarrassed) by posting my top three (well four since its a three way tie for second) results as determined by the quiz: Duncan Hunter (55%), John McCain (50%), Mitt Romney (50%), and Tom Tancredo (50%). Based on these results, I say farce ;D. Still fun though.

I tested as a "Hard-Core Conservative".
Imagine that.....
Hunter at 73%, Tancredo at 70% and Brownbeck at 68%.
Interestingly, the declared candidate I at least thought I supported- Huckabee- was all the way down at 43%.
At the bottom were Kucinich at 3% (wonder what I actually agreed with him to score that high?), Dodd at 8% and Sharpton at 10%.
If you expand the field to include possible candidates, Bill Frist comes in at 70% and Newt Gingrich at 63%.
Interesting, part 2: I agree with Democrat Bill Richardson (34%) more than republican(?) Ron Paul (30%).

Interesting! or insteresting.
I had Joe biden at 63%, but i am an odd one. I support Free trade but definitly feel government plays a huge role in creating the atmosphere for business. I am Extremely liberal on most social issues but I am in favor of the death penalty and I am opposed to gun control. I am a strong advocate of the Military but I feel like we often misassess situations and engage in policy that is counterproductive to our goals.
Thanks Kevin that was cool.

rich-
I think that I'd peg you as a traditional liberal- "paleo-liberal" if you prefer- in the mold of Truman or JFK.
You didn't leave the Democrat Party; the Democrat Party left you.

I didn't score over 50% with any of them...not surprising...
Had a problem with some of the questions...not the least of which the one about "replacing" coal and oil with "alternative" fuels...who is advocating that? Perhaps a question about "supplementing" or "optimizing" enrgy sources with each other would have been something that I could "support"...

Yeah, they had precious too few questions but I guess that makes it easier to match up to people with precious little background (like Giuliani IMO).

Hmmm.
Here are mine:
Sam Brownback (38%), John Edwards (33%), Duncan Hunter (33%), Rudy Giuliani (30%).
I was a bit surprised to see that Brownback was my "first choice".

blondie's not coming clean on his/her sex or race. The only thing we know is he/she is an atheist. Race doesn't matter but it would be nice to know the sex so we can use the proper pronouns ;D.
