"Hurricane center sees active 2007 season"
Seems we heard this last year, too...
But it HAS to be true, since it's an Associated Press headline...

Yeah, let's wait for NewsMax so we can get the real story. No kidding, those NewsMax people know what they're doing.

I guess they just want to cover their butts. If they announce this every year then no one can blame them if we do have an active season. I think last year was a good example of the fact that they in no way can predict weather/climate change. Oops! Did I just mention climate change? Oh, crap!!! Now this thread will turn into a GW thread!

Yeah, let's wait for NewsMax so we can get the real story. And while we're waiting let's not talk about the fact that they predicted the same thing last year and missed the mark in an incredible way. That might make some of you lefties uncomfortable.

Interesting comeback, blondie...one of the "predictors" of this "active" hurricane season is Dr. William Gray of Colorado State...seems you haven't thought much of him in the past...

Interesting comeback, blondie...one of the "predictors" of this "active" hurricane season is Dr. William Gray of Colorado State...seems you haven't thought much of him in the past... Recently I've become more familiar with the philosophy of science and Karl Popper's work. If you do the same you'll understand why one GW denier isn't equivalent to a kagillian GW believers. My favorite part of Gray's Wikipedia entry is, "He points to a global cooling article in Newsweek from 1975"

amazing isnt it......the SAME fellow blondie takes as gospel on upcoming hurricanes, ALSO is one of the staunchest human caused GW DENIERS!
for those that care to be informed and care about TRUTH.....it is real simple stuff.....in el nino years(which we just are ending) the atlantic basin is almost always very active the following summer.....dr, gray is basing his predictions on ACTUAL DATA, the SAME way he looks at GW....the ACTUAL DATA is PROOF that HCGW is a FARCE!
