gee wiz, Im starting to actualy feel quite young around here, no wonder we all have such different opinions......W.O.M.I, I love Louie Armstrong, and Sinatra but its been years since Ive heard them. You must be in your 50s, am I right? I know Im asking everyone there age but I think its good to know what everyones frame of reference is ( what era they grew up in ). espy- I'm 43. I showed up rather late in my parent's life (they were in their mid-late 30s), so it was a matter of both of us basically skipping the 1950s in terms of music. I guess it's yet another example of me being older psychologically and mentally than chronologically.

Am I the only Drum & Bass fan here?!? please say it isnt so........... I used to manage a record store here in Birmingham. One of the girls that worked there was a transplant from southern Florida and she was really, really into the Miami Bass sound. The company didn't pay their people crap but it was easy to see (and hear) where the money did go: they had absolutely KILLER sound/vision systems instore. I'm talking Bose speakers, similarly high-end CD/LP rack systems and top of the line stereo tvs (this was before HD but, if it had been around, they'd have not given us raises another year and bought those for the stores...). Well, the girl talked me into popping open one of the bass CDs and playing it....>LOUD< Damn thing cracked the front window of the store!
